Sophie and Michael, whose unhappy relationship ended long ago, unexpectedly cross paths again at the secluded holiday home of mutual friends. When a sudden lockdown forces them to spend four weeks alone together in the house, they quickly find themselves confronted by unresolved conflicts from their shared past — as well as feelings they thought they had long forgotten. Caught between confrontation and renewed intimacy, they find an unlikely mediator in Karl, the local lockdown officer, whose well-meaning but awkward attempts to help only complicate matters.
